Traipse – NEPA
 

Traipse is a body of work by NEPA which includes new audio and video work.
 
NEPA interweave field recordings, minimal musical elements and various distorted voices into an immersive audiovisual collage.
The exploration of identity and surveillance runs through all elements of “Traipse” as a recurring theme. The work moves between personal reflections and trivialities and collective contemporary memory and manifestations of societal structures.
 
NEPA is an elusive agency, label and future swimwear boutique for artists of the African diaspora facilitated by KLEIN and Ko___ol, and was founded in London in 2017.
