25.03.-08.04.17: Fingerprints – Andreas Lumineau

In his first solo show, Fingerprints, Andreas Lumineau displays a body of work that reflects upon the notion of a time frame. He uses images as a medium to immobilise narration, hold a fall or break through linearity. As if pressing on the pause button during a movie, resulting in an odd screen composition, he emphasises the singularity of the x moment.

Andreas Lumineau was born in Zurich in 1992 and now lives and works in Paris. In 2016, he graduated from École Cantonnale d’Art de Lausanne with a Bachelor in Visual Communication, majoring in Photography.
In 2015, his work was shown at Zürcher Hochschule der Künste in the exhibition Low Res; at Hangar 9 in Geneva in the exhibition Projection and in the exhibition can hope be disapointed in Zurich. He is the co-founder of the photography journal Pirlo Magazine.
